We are a Palestinian family of seven. Before October 7, we lived a safe and stable life. Our family was happy and peaceful, and my husband worked hard to provide for our daily needs.

Everything changed on that tragic day, October 7, when our lives were shattered by the Israeli military attacks. We were forced to flee Gaza City after our home was bombed and completely burned down. From there, we escaped to Khan Younis, where we stayed for several months, and later moved to Rafah.

We are now back in Gaza, living near the ruins of our destroyed home. We are surviving in a tent that is not fit for human habitation. It offers no protection from the extreme summer heat or the cold of winter.

I have two young daughters, Sila and Musk, who need food, milk, clothing, and other basic necessities. I also have other children who desperately need clothes, food, and a safe place to protect them from the intense heat of the sun.
