On June 16, 2020 off duty deputy sheriff Albert Rosario was on his way to work when he witnessed the victim of a fatal accident laying in the middle of the freeway. Albert stopped to assist the victim and render aid. while doing so, he was struck by a vehicle and suffered serious injuries which led to surgery on his right leg, laceration to his face and dental trauma to teeth. This unfortunate event and good samaritan act has left Albert temporarily disabled and out of work as he begins his road to recovery.

Albert has served as a deputy sheriff for almost 2 years now and previously served in the U.S. Army from 2006-2014 and has served 2 deployments to Afghanistan. He’s a genuine guy whose bravery in this tragic event doesn’t surprise those who know him well because that’s the type of character he has. One of true sacrifice and selflessness, willing to put others before himself. It is because of this we are asking for the help of family, friends, relatives and the community to cover the unexpected costs of medical bills and house modifications that had to be made due to his limited mobility.

Albert’s family is grateful for his life and sincerely thank you for your consideration and generosity during this time.
