Hi, my name is Cori Francis. I am 68, and in June, I'll be 69. I had an accident in my home on 4/6/26. I slipped and fell going into the restroom on a small puddle of water (I have neuropathy in both of my hands from arthritis that pinched a nerve in my neck), so when I slipped and grabbed for support on the door jamb, I was unable to stop myself from falling.

I broke my right hip, which required a pin and two 3-inch screws with 30 staples.

I am currently in a nursing physical therapy rehab facility.

Unfortunately, my Medicare insurance only covers 20 days, leaving me with only 6 days left. An extension has a co-payment of $217 per day.

I am struggling to walk and will be home alone for 7-10 hours a day.

Praying that I may get donations here on GoFundMe to extend my stay for up to two weeks.
