Hello all, My name is Brenda Valdes and my beautiful, kind, sweet sister Nancy Valdes was killed instantly by a drunk driver while out walking on Saturday evening. The shock of this tragedy has devastated our family and all her friends. My sister loved God and all of humanity. My sister was light and love and pure joy to all who loved her, and her absence leaves a void in this world that will never be filled. My sister had no insurance or assets to speak of. And our family is of very humble means. We humbly ask for any contribution large or small so that we may travel from the east coast to Nancy's home in southern California to honor her final wishes and lay her to rest. Many will know that her only daughter, Casey is completely unable to handle this horrible situation, as she struggles with her own illness.
