This is our cousin and dear friend Mike. On Sunday October 24th Mike had a tragic accident while doing something he loves. While exiting his bow-hunting stand he fell 20 feet to the ground. As a result of the fall Mike suffered head-trauma, a spinal cord injury, and broken ribs.

Anyone that has the pleasure of knowing Mike knows that he always has a smile on his face, a quick wit, and is always willing to lend a helping hand to friends and family.

Mike takes great pride in being a union contract laborer for the last 26 years, all with C.R. Meyer and Sons. He is well-liked and well-respected for his work-ethic.

Mike has a lot to fight for, including his latest joy, his 20 month old granddaughter who lights up his life. Mike, Amy, and the kids are strong, but they now need the support of family, friends, and even strangers.

Mike and the family have a long road ahead of them. Lengthy hospital stays, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. The family will have to travel quit a bit for an unknown time.
