This GoFundMe account is set up by the family of Debbie McCormick in order to help combat her medical bills just as she is combating pancreatic cancer.
Any one who knows Debbie knows that she is one of those people who will do anything in her power to help another person out in any way possible. She has fed, clothed, housed, and cared for those is need but now its time to do the same for her.
Debbie got the unfortunate diagnoses of stage 2 pancreatic cancer in January of 2016, she works part time as a preschool teacher and her husband Chris works as a sheet metal worker when he is not laid off due slow times in his industry. Unfortunately, since her diagnosis, both have been unable to work and have had minimal income.
Debbie had a Whipple procedure done on February 26th and will soon be moving on to start her radiation and chemotherapy treatments. These procedures are very expensive and with little to no income, paying the fees will be difficult. She will also have the added cost of extensive hospital stays, tests, a home healthcare nurse, durable medical equipment, medications, and lost income on top of that.
With your help, we hope to raise at LEAST $15,000 to help with the rising cost of Debbie's bills. It's the least we can do after all the McCormicks have done for everyone in their lives.
