Eyvette Diane Pascascio fell ill with COVID-19 on June 9th and passed away a week later on June 16th at the age of 45. She was a single mother of two daughters. Eyvette was a healthcare professional working in a rehabilitation home when she became sick.
Eyvette’s mother, Sandra, is a dear friend of ours. Sandra worked in our home for a year, taking care of Jenny’s mother, Ruth (who has dementia). Sandra now cares for my elderly father, Sandy, full time. She has been an integral part of our family for these past few years.
Sandra is now faced with new financial responsibilities and the traumatic loss of her eldest daughter. She goes above and beyond in her work to not only meet the physical needs but also tend to the heart of our family. We ask that you give what you can to support Sandra and her granddaughters in the wake of this sudden and untimely death.
Even in this moment of grief, Sandra continues to work full-time to support herself and extended family. Due to the nature of COVID-19, Sandra and Eyvette’s daughters were not able to say goodbye. We ask you to support how you can, knowing this money will directly relieve Sandra of some financial burdens––helping alleviate the stress of funeral costs, and the newfound responsibility of helping support two more grandchildren. During this collective time of considerable uncertainty, this fund will provide some stability and relief during this unexpected and sudden loss in Sandra’s family.
