Yesterday our cat came home soaked and limping. Our first thought was that someone had sprayed her with a hose and she fell while trying to get away. We took her to the vet this morning and the vet said her leg was badly broken in 5 places. He went on to say that this injury isn’t typical of a fall and he didn’t think it was a car hitting her either because of the absence of other injuries. Which means the vet thinks someone deliberately did this to our cat. This senseless act of violence is causing my cat to loseher leg. To reconstruct the leg will cost between 7-9 thousand dollars and to have the leg amputated we need to come up with 3 thousand. This saddens me so much that someone could do this to any animal. So if you or anyone you know can help we would truly appreciate it. She needs surgery soon.
