Eyshia was driving along Highway 56 when she got into a major car accident. Where she hit a truck that was going slow without working lights, and she hit his flatbed trailer bed. The wreck resulted in her being life-flighted to the St. George Regional Intermountain Hospital in Critical Condition. She went through 6.5 hours of surgery, where they had to remove her spleen. Many of her injuries included
- Right Patella Fracture (Surgeon said, "It was broken into too many pieces to count")
- Right femur fracture
- Right ankle dislocation (Muscles are also twisted, possibly requiring more surgery)
- Right distal fibula fracture
- Right knee laceration
- Left rib fractures #4-7
- Splenic fracture
- Grade 3 liver laceration
- Grade 1 pandemic laceration
- Left-hand laceration
- Moderate Concussion
- Torn/Restrained ligament in the neck
- Enlarged heart and other injuries
She is so very lucky to be alive. She is a sweet girl with a kind spirit and love of mountain dew(the first thing she asked for when she woke up). She is an amazing friend, daughter, and sister. She will have a long road to recovery and needs so
much help. I am raising this money to help her family with the medical bills to improve her future.
