My name is Jamie-Lee and I have created this page for Michelle Gardham on behalf of my family, to support our beautiful Mum’s heartbreaking diagnosis.

Our intent is to relieve the significant financial burden that has so quickly been placed upon her, so she can focus her energy on navigating treatment and quality time with her family.

Michelle has been diagnosed with Terminal Stage 4 Small Cell Lung Cancer which has metastasised to other parts of her body. Chemotherapy treatment started within a few days with Immunotherapy and Radiotherapy soon to follow.

Oncologists have advised the devastating news that this is not curable. With treatment, we hope she will feel mostly well throughout her journey and give all of us as much time together as we can. Michelle had to cease work the day she was diagnosed to begin treatment immediately; she is unable to drive and cannot return to her much loved employment as a carer.

How Donations will be used:

Michelle is a single mum who provides a home for herself and her youngest daughter. Our family is hard at work dealing with insurance and the government to access the small amount of benefits available, which we know unfortunately will not be enough.

Donations will be used to help cover loss of income for Michelle and her daughter who is now providing care to her mother, rent and general living costs, medical expenses and trial medications not covered by Medicare, ensure Mum can celebrate the time she has with her family and lighten the pressures of her children taking extended time off work to support their Mum.

Michelle has touched the hearts of so many, she is without a doubt the most caring, compassionate, and selfless woman many of us will ever know, she is one of a kind and a real-life angel on earth!

We understand the current cost of living pressures are far reaching, every contribution of any amount will have a direct impact on Michelle’s life, and so too, will sharing this post with your friends and family!
