In 2015 our worlds changed forever. My husbands sister, my sister in law was told that she has Stage 3 Melanoma and would have to receive chemotherapy for the next year. Tiffany has endured countless surgeries from the initial cut and removal, to going back in to get 26 Lymph nodes removed, chemotherapy and the horrible aftermaths of constantly being sick or too weak, the 3 month check ups where everyone would finally breathe a sigh of relief when things came back good, even if we didn't realize we were holding our breaths. That since has change. On June 11th, Tiff underwent a laparoscopic procedure to remove an ovary that came up as a "hot spot" on a pet scan. Today seems like D day. She left the doctors office being told that everything was clear and they heard nothing back on the preliminary report. A few minutes later that changed. It came back that it was melanoma. Malignant Metatastic Melanoma which means its now Stage 4. Which means, more surgeries, more money, more time off work, if she is even able to report back to work. She has a 4 year old daughter that was just signed up for school, a husband who works countless hours to support his family, and the bills will keep coming in when she is unable to work. No donation is too small. We want whatever time Tiffany has left with us whether it be 5 years or 15 years to be able to enjoy her life with her family and not stress about $100,000's of dollars in hospital bills.
