Hi, my name is Alex. I believe in the power of prayer and our community to support each other in need and in finding peace. I am a cancer patient who needs a medical procedure to restore my eyesight in both eyes. The need is for a lens for each eye with a cost of CDN$1900 for each eye, including measurements and other applicable costs, for a total of CDN$3800. The funds will be used to pay the clinic, Milton Eye Surgeons, for the cost of the lenses only. My support network is my two children, one relative, and my extensive healthcare team of wonderful people. I would like to see my children and be myself for them as they continue to grow and adapt to my condition. I was diagnosed with stage three, high-risk cancer a few years ago, and it has been a lonely road to my present situation of peace. My eyesight is a relatively new development over the last year, which started with a detached retina. I am very low on resources as I am on disability and would like to have this surgery.
