He was diagnosed with diabetes 8 months ago. It has been tough to help him start living more or less normal life, stabilizing weight after he lost 20 lbs. About a month ago he started developing cataracts in both eyes. If untreated in the next 1-2 months, he will develop glaucoma and become totally blind.

The cost of such surgery is $10,000 with all tests and extra expenses. It is mind boggling.
