My name is Jeanie Carr, I am a single mother of 7 and restaurant owner of Greens and Things. I dreamed of owning a restaurant for most of my adult life. After much hard work and dedication to making this dream come to life, I invested my entire life savings into opening Greens and Things, 2 months before the COVID 19 pandemic. With no experiencing running a restaurant, let alone during these unprecedented times, my business has been left devastated ever since. I am over $30k in debt and having trouble not only keeping my business afloat, but taking care of myself and my family. I am set for court to plead my case as to why I should be allowed to keep my seller permit. Without a permit, I have no business. I am a hardworking and driven individual doing whatever I can to make my payments on time, but am not bringing in enough revenue to stay afloat. Asking for help in this way is difficult and has forced me to set aside my pride, but I am desperate to pay my bills and get my restaurant back on track. Any donation is greatly appreciated and will be used to pay the Wisconsin department revenue, my landlord, WE Energies, Click Lease and Sysco.
