Afghanistan International Foundation for the Blind (AIFB) is a New York based non-profit organization which is working on different projects to help the less fortunate visually impaired and blind individuals in Afghanistan. The organization has been around for 12 years now, and we have successfully completed a number of projects to enhance the lives of blind and visually impaired individuals in Afghanistan who are suffering from a lack of adequate health and educational services. AIFB’s current project is to provide 1000 prescription eyeglasses to underserved visually impaired patients in Kabul, Afghanistan through Eyes Professional Hospital, a hospital associated with Kabul Medical University.
