Eye.Eat.Well: Your Health Oasis

Hi! Dr. Leslie Gauntlett here hoping to Garner support for my passion project.

I'm a practicing Optometrist in Philadelphia with a Masters in Clinical Nutrition. My goal is to bridge the gap between diagnosis and treatment of the most common systemic diseases that also affect your eyes.

I will be creating an office that isn't the typical aesthetic or modality of a healthcare office.

Have you seen a nutrition and optometry practice running in the same place?

Imagine going for an eye exam and getting a refreshing smoothie packed with nutrients to enhance eye health.

Imagine going to a nutritionist and leaving with recipes you can try samples of at the cafe.

Imagine going to a cafe type lounge area for free wifi and community events.

That is what I will build.

As an optometrist with a masters in nutrition and a passion for helping people, please help me build a place for people to learn about their eyes, eat nutrient dense foods, and relax in a serene environment.
