My name is Philip Sutherland, and along with my siblings, we are raising money for eye surgery for Mama (Linda Sutherland). Mama is the mother of 10 children, and over the last several years her vision has been worsening to the point that she has difficulty reading.

Mama had cataracts in both eyes, and is scheduled to have cataract surgery along with recieving intraocular lenses (lenses in the eye that replace the cataract) which will significantly improve her vision. The plan is also for her to recieve some aditional eye surgery simultaneously to corect the astigmatism that she has in both eyes. The plan is to have surgery on one eye, and then several weeks later, have surgery on the other eye. The healthcare insurance that Mama has does not cover the full cost of the eye surgeries and intraocular lenses. It is our goal to honor our parents and to help provide the additional funds that are needed for her eye surgeries.
