I received a phone call today that I will not be able to have surgery this Friday without a down payment of $1500. This has never happened to me before as this is my fourth eye surgery and I thought I knew the process. This upcoming surgery is to place a shunt into my eye because currently the ocular fluid isn’t draining. Without the surgery, my pressure will eventually build up to a level where my eye will grow larger than the socket allows and have to be removed. This is completely preventable and I could have paid that amount over time were I not give four days notice. Please consider helping me, I wouldn’t ask if I wasn’t entirely desperate.
