Eye Op for Rosie

Hello. My name is Amanda. I’m fundraising for our pup Rosie and Help4Hounds. Rosie came into our lives at 3 months old. She’s a boisterous character, very loving and cheeky and absolutely amazing!

Just prior to being matched with Rosie I spoke to Jenny at Help4Hounds to discuss my needs in a dog. I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks and have done for a few years, at times these attacks can have an impact on being out in public and I needed to find a way of being able to have independence again. Then I met Rosie and what can I say! She is an absolutely God send for me and what a different she’s made even before training !

Both me and Rosie will be guided through our training by RAD Assistance Dogs so Rosie can give me the help I need when out and about. Unfortunately when Rosie was in Forster care she had a little bit too much of a rough play with a dog and the dog damaged her eye. She has issues with drainage and will need an operation to correct the damage that was done. This surgery isn’t cheap and is coming in at approximately £7000. Help4Hounds are fundraising for Rosie but they need help to hit the target. Without peoples help Rosie can’t get her eye operation. If you can spare a few pounds to help the charity We would be very grateful.
