On the morning of March 23rd, our dear friend Eydie received a call that everyone dreads. "There's grey smoke coming out of the roof of your house." Eydie was worried sick as she rushed home from work. Her loving pets were her children & meant the world to her. As she approached her house, smoke and fire trucks surrounded it. Her heart broke. She was then told that her six birds, two turtles, four newborn puppies, and three dogs had perished in the fire. Her other two dogs, Titan and Bella, were rushed to the emergency vet. Sadly, Titan had to be put to sleep because of cerebral swelling that was causing seizures. Her sweet Bella kept fighting, but sadly succumbed to her injuries & also had to be put to sleep. As if losing her pets and having her house destroyed wasn't enough, Eydie got a devastating call the next morning that her mom was rushed to the hospital and passed away. Eydie is beyond devastated with all of the loss in her life the last couple of days. She is a passionate pet owner and plant enthusiast. Eydie has been a CNA for 26 years and has dedicated her life to caring for others. She never met a person or animal that she wouldn't help. We are asking for your help during this devastating time. Of course, all the money in the world won't bring back her mom & babies, but she is in dire need of financial help for all the emergency vet bills along with her mom's funeral cost. Any donation amount would be greatly appreciated. Please keep Eydie and her family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you.
