My name is Doyinsola Akin- Fasae. I am a 30 year old Sickle Cell Disease Patient with bilateral peri-prosthetic infections and severe hip pains following a hip joint replacement . 
   
            I had the bilateral Hip replacement in 2016 after which  i could not my education. My family was able to raise money from selling properties and getting loans for the surgery at this time. 
Unfortunately, i have been unable to walk well since then constantly in pains and not able to care for myself after the surgery.The pain keeps getting worse despite the huge medication expenses every week. 

         At present, i'm being managed for staged reconstructive reconstructive surgery  at ABUAD Multi system hospital . This will involve the initial removal of my current implants, extensive excessive debridement and insertion of antibiotic spacers at the first stage, then will be monitored for resolution, following which i will have bilateral complex hip joint reconstructive at the second stage .

I live in  excruciating pains everyday. My surgery procedure will  start as soon as i'm able to raise the funds needed.
