Diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma Cancer

Hi my name it’s Stacey, i’m now 54 years old and I’ve had my fair share of struggles with my health over the years, but not once did I let my disabilities define me. I also felt, no matter what life threw at me, I needed to suck it up and deal with it. I was working, no matter how bad I felt, just pushing through the pain. However, my life was turned upside down when doctors found lesions on my shoulders. Turns out I had advance stages of multiple myeloma, but I thought, I can still work until they are ready to start treatment, man was I wrong. I’m run down and weak, not to mention dealing with the pain of pre-existing disabilities. I never thought I’d be asking for your help and support, but I’m out of options at this point. The funds will be used for medical bills to pay for scans and biopsy’s, testing and X-rays, and doctor’s visits for specialty doctors, as well as medications not covered by insurance. There’s so many bills that have been incurred and doctors are refusing to see me unless I can pay at this point. I’m at the point now where I owe thousands to doctors and can’t even see my oncologist and haven’t had labs done in over 8 months. So I’m out of options for sure. I’m just at a total loss and can’t even get a therapist for crisis counseling which I’ve been on a wait list for almost a year. My apologies for such a long update. I’ve been denied Medicaid over a $4.00 technicality, which is crazy in my mind, but it is what it is! I have to deal with it! But now I’m turning to family, friends, and ask of you angels out there to lift me up and get me through this struggle one day at a time, one week, one month, and with hope one year at a time, and with great hope they will find a cure for this horrible cancer!
