Hello, my name is Natessa and I am the owner of Devitas Disposal in Provincetown Ma, I was born and raised in Westmoreland Jamaica and it pains me to see my home in such devastation. Many of my family members have lost everything and close to everything after hurricane Melissa.
Hurricane Melissa has left a trail of devastation across Jamaica, homes have been destroyed, communities flooded, and many families have lost everything. Entire towns are without power, clean water, or access to basic supplies.
I’m raising funds to support the people in Westmoreland, Black river and all the other communities that are struggling with basic needs such as food, clean water, clothes, medical supplies. And help those families that have lost their homes rebuild. Donations in the form of non perishable items and clothing for adults and children is greatly appreciated as well, please contact Devitas Disposal at 5084878935 for a drop off location.
As a Jamaican who grew up in Westmoreland and someone with family still there I feel helpless being so far and knowing how much pain Jamaica and the people there are in right now, this cause is deeply personal to me. Our people are strong and resilient, but we need help right now to rebuild and recover.
Your donation no matter the size will make a real difference. Please share this campaign and help us bring hope and relief to Jamaica. Together, we can help families rebuild their lives after Hurricane Melissa.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and prayers.
