On October 20th, one of my best friends (my maid of honor, actually) and her 9 year old son lost everything they own in a devastating apartment fire, including their 10 year old cat Cashmere.

Right now, they have immediate needs to fill until the insurance company can assess the damage and begin replacing items, such as food, clothing, personal care items and toys. Her son just had a birthday two weeks ago, so all of his gifts, as well as a few Christmas presents, are all gone. She’s a single mother and she works very hard to give her son a blessed life in every aspect. It’s heartbreaking to see this all taken away from them in the blink of an eye.
Every amount contributed to help cover these initial costs is greatly appreciated. Please continue to keep this precious family in your prayers.
