Help save Gus

Our beautiful boy Gus, a 2.5 year old Blue British Shorthair, has sadly been diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP).

Until very recently, this diagnosis was a death sentence for cats with many owners making the decision to euthanase early to spare their cats a slow, lingering death and long suffering.

It has now been discovered that certain antiviral drugs can not only improve symptoms, but a cure can actually eventuate from these treatments. This is our only chance to save our boy and it comes at a huge cost.

This treatment would require Gus to have injections for 80 days and for a cat weighing around 3kg the cost would be approximately $5000, Gus is over 6kg! $10,000 is a tough ask but we will do anything to give him a chance at beating this.

He is a very much loved and adored part of our family and although asking for donations isn't something we are comfortable with, it is our last resort. No matter how big or small your donation may be, we would be so appreciative!
