Hey there my friends...
As most of you know, I suffer from severe depression and anxiety, and have for 18 years now. I've reached a point in my treatments for depression that is no longer working, such as multiple medications, therapy and couseling.
My doctors now want me to begin ECT treatment (electoconvulsive therapy) to help with my depression and anxiety. It is a very safe procedure, but I will have to
have about 12 sessions, doing this as a 3 days a week procedure. The recovery rate is about 60 to 80% improvement from my current depression.
But going thru this procedure means that I will be unable to work for about 6 weeks, with no income and a lot of expenses for the procedure. Also while going through this, I am not eligible for short term disability.
I hope that I can get my smile back with this procedure, and I would be so deeply thankful for any and all help.
