In May of 2016, I had a stroke.  I was in Louisiana working at the time.  I was hospitalized, and shortly thereafter moved to a rehabilitation facility to begin recovery.  Due to the stroke, I lost my job, my home, and my way of life.  I imediatly decided to try my damnedest to recover.  I worked hard to get out of the wheelchair, I leraned to walk on my own again.  Since the stroke, I can walk, talk, cook, and clean for myself again.  I filed for my social security disability to help with medical bills and day to day living until I can get to the point of getting back to work and being able to take care of myself financially again, and I have been turned down twice. I have gotten a lawyer who has refilled for me and asked for a hearing. It takes up to 20 months to get a hearing.  In the meantime, I cannot work, can't pay bills, and I can't get medication to  recovering.  Frankly,  I'm screwed.  Several close friends suggested I set up a goFundMe account, for some help.  So, here it is.  I'm not sure if this can help, or if it's my best alternative, I don't really feel comfortable asking for help, I'd rather be working again.  Thank You All for the support and the many prayers and well wishes.
