Every spring, Dr. Tim Fischer travels to Mexico with a group of faithful Nebraska men to spread the gospel.  In summer 2019, I will be traveling with a group of high school juniors from St. Peter's Church to our mission site in Ahuazotepec, Mexico (2 hours east of Mexico City).  During our weeklong 'Extreme Mission,' we will demonstrate God's love through the construction of a house for a deserving family in this underserved area.   Missionaries will spend the majority of the day working hard manual labor in hot weather, typically with no running water or electricity.  Afternoons and evenings are devoted to prayer and fellowship with local villagers.

This group of young men has graciously accepted God's invitation to serve.  We are asking for your generosity to raise the necessary funds for the mission fee ($600/person), airfare (typically $500-600/person), and a portion of the required $6,000 mission budget (for building supplies).  By God's grace, we are also hoping to cover the mission costs for Fr. Danek, who has expressed a desire to serve as our group chaplain.  Any unused funds will be donated to Mission Youth, the mission organization which is coordinating our trip.  Additional information can be found on the Mission Youth website (https://www.missionyouth.com/mexico).
