Rescue of beloved pets from Sudan hotspots
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Jill and I need your help. As many of you know, I work in Sudan and will remain here, helping children and vulnerable families as part of my official role in country. Helping animals is my other passion, and I can’t give up on them. Animals in Sudan are in desperate need. To give context, here’s a story of a rescued cat. Its home was raided and it took heavy negotiation and incredible courage and risk to save him. He is one of the lucky ones. So many continue to be trapped in houses deep in the war zone. We are coordinating with individual transporters to find ways inside conflict areas and to these scared animals. Some may have already been killed. Some may have already starved to death. But everyday, we try, if only to bring closure to anxious owners. Ten dogs and cats have been rescued so far and relocated to safer areas.
It’s a risky and expensive process. The needed funds will help sustain these efforts, taking financial pressure off pet owners at a very difficult time. Any support you can provide is needed and deeply appreciated.
Thank you so much.
