Hi, my name is Lessie, and I am helping to raise money for the cost of temporary housing for Kerri post liver transplant. Insurance does not cover for this, so we are asking for a blessing. For the first six to eight weeks after her surgery, we must stay close to the hospital. So, it's time to prepare for temporary housing since the transplant is just 2 weeks away!

Kerri will be required to follow a very strict schedule that includes frequent visits to the transplant center where the surgery is performed. She will not be released to return home until the transplant surgeon deems it medically appropriate. We will be staying at housing that is specifically designed to provide housing to Baylor's transplant patients and their families. While we are extremely thankful that this is available to us, it is an added cost that her insurance does not cover. The money will cover the cost of housing, as well as all of the extras that go along with an extended stay away from home.
