- Hi my name is Lakeisha. As you all know Cindy is my Mother & Ron is my Stepfather. Last week Ron went into RRMC for a routine partial knee replacement. I won’t even get into how they treated my Mother.. or how they thought Ron’s surgery went well before he had to bring to their attention his foot was cold and as hard as a rock! He was then rushed to UVM and underwent a 8 hour surgery to fix what Rutland had done! There are so many details that I am leaving out but the doctor told my Mom, Ron was injured. He had severed arteries, he had loss a lot of blood. They were not sure if the 8 hour surgery even worked and Ron was being sedated & had a breathing tube. You can imagine how scared we all were. When my Mom got to UVM later that day. He woke up, Thank God. He was very close to losing his foot/ leg . He should have been home the day after his surgery & he’s is going to be in the hospital for weeks to come. And I imagine lots of physical therapy after that. So what I am asking for is some help for my Mom & Ron’s family( it’s a big one:) donations, meals, prayers, thoughtful messages! Anything would be appreciated!
