Extensive Water Damage Repairs

If you know me, you know that this is one of the hardest things in the world for me to have to do. I rarely ask for help of any kind, and I am only doing so now because the Maxwell House is in desperate need.
After an already difficult few months, the universe felt that we needed one more thing to handle in order to remind us of how much we have to be grateful for. That one more thing came in the form of a ruptured water heater pipe that flooded our home.
The water damage is extensive, and will require new flooring, drywall, baseboards, and mold mitigation, as well as a new water heater. The insurance adjuster is coming tomorrow, and we will soon begin the process of demolishing the damaged areas and rebuilding. We are also unsure as to whether or not we will be able to stay in our home during the repairs. We’ll know more tomorrow.
Fortunately, barring anything unforeseen, our homeowners insurance will cover the repairs. Unfortunately, we have a $2500 water damage deductible, and insurance will not cover the replacement cost of the water heater.
Under normal circumstances, we might be able to manage this on our own. As it stands, with our current outstanding invoices at The Studio, we simply can’t cover a disaster of this magnitude.
As I said before, I don’t ask for help lightly, and I’m more than willing to earn every dime, so if you feel
compelled to donate to our cause, please know that I will be available for your photo and video needs to help make it up to you.
