Support for a Musical Icon

As many of you will know Sammy Dreadlocks (DAD) has been in a cruel battle with GBM4 (Glioblastoma Grade 4 Brain Tumour) since September 2023. He underwent surgery and intense Radiotherapy alongside Chemotherapy treatment until July this year. His tumour was stable until his last scan in August which showed a regrowth.

GBM4 is the most aggressive of all brain tumours and once again he faces further chemotherapy.

His immense fortitude, faith and sheer determination to get better everyday fills us with pride.

We have received fantastic support and treatment from Leeds Hospitals and cannot thank them enough for what they have done. However, there maybe an opportunity to fight back harder as there are options for a second opinion around treatments available outside of the NHS.

He is currently too ill to work so this fundraising page is to help him secure a funding of £5,000. This will be used to cover the costs for him to have the crucial initial consultation, assesment and tests done privately. It will also go towards any costs connected to his condition - such as attending medical appointments, recommended treatments etc

So many of you have already supported him on this journey and we are grateful for that support. We are continuing to ask those that love, admire and support him outside of the family unit to help us help him further.
