We experienced a preterm premature rupture of membranes (Pprom) at 18 weeks pregnant. As a result Sue will be admitted to the hospital for up to 10 weeks to do everything we can to have a healthy baby boy. This will result in a total loss of income for Sue and put a giant strain on finances anything will help and be greatly appreciated. If you can not give monetarily we’d appreciate any and all prayers for a healthy baby to come at 34 weeks.
Our extended stay for Sue has turned into an extended stay for Otis Anthony Bowden. Otis was born extremely premature at just hours from 26 weeks gestation. Otis will be in the NICU for a long period of time. We are asking for prayers of strength, growth and continued progress.

UPDATE on Otis/Bowden’s
Otis is still in the NICU at the University of Iowa and will be under going a tracheostomy next week. This presents a whole new set of changes/ challenges for not only Otis but for the rest of our family. Continued prayers for Otis’ lungs to grow big and strong as fast as God is willing and for strength for our entire family during this trying time. We appreciate all the love, support and prayers! Another Otis UPDATE Otis has been making some developmental progress and we got to see him laugh (not his first time but first for us) this week! Seeing him have joy is beyond amazing! Otis will turn 1 on November 27th, we are so thankful he’s made it so far! It looks like we will be in the hospital through, at least, the beginning of summer 2020. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for your continued support and prayers!! Love you all!
