Extend Love to Longo Family After Tragedy

My name is Christy Vega and I live in Los Angeles. I am a cousin and extremely close to the Longo Family. The Longo Family's life was turned upside down by the Palisades Fire. Their family home that held not only all their possessions and mementos was completely destroyed. It burned down along with their memories of over a decade living there. The Longos have three children, two of whom still live at home. This has been an unimaginable loss for the family, but especially traumatic for the children. Their entire town is gone. Their grocery store, their local pharmacy, their little restaurants, their church, their entire community... gone.

I am putting this GoFundMe together without the Longos' knowledge. I've had so many people reach out asking how they can help, support, and show love to the family at this time. A time their hearts and souls could never need it more. This is my answer. Instead of a bouquet of flowers, an orchid pot, or your old items, please send a little love in the most useful way for the family. That is money. They don't need your old clothes; they need a little love to get new ones. They don't need flowers; they need funds to purchase temporary furniture for their apartment that will be their new home while they rebuild. This money will go toward clothing, temporary furniture, and basic necessities. The goal of this is to offset some of their trauma and help in the most useful and efficient way. I ask you to join me in supporting a family that has truly experienced one of the greatest tragedies LA has ever seen. This won't rebuild their home, but I hope it will show the Longos how loved and supported they are.
