Dear Friends and Family,

6 years ago, so many of you very generously helped our sister-in-law, Anita Lichman, and her family, when she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

We are heartbroken to share that Anita’s cancer has returned, and they have a very long road ahead of them. She is starting chemotherapy, radiation and immunotherapy with the hope of extending her life as long as possible. While we all hope for the best, the initial scans are not pretty.

They are going to have a lot of very difficult decisions to make and will need a mountain of support. As Anita shuts down her private therapy practice, and Steven reduces his hours at work to be with her and their boys, please consider providing financial support as the family works to get on more stable ground.

Anita wants to be able to focus as much as possible on the joy and beauty of being with her family. It goes without saying that at a time like this it’s love and community that will lift them up. Your prayers, well wishes and financial support of any size will go a long way.
