Extend a helping hand to disaster-stricken people of Gaza

Life goes through difficult moments.. that make us wonder about the meaning of humanity and the spirit of solidarity.

The people of the Gaza Strip face a great challenge.. as they suffer from the scourge of harsh war and continuous displacement and homelessness for the ninth consecutive month. These people who lost their homes and loved ones and are still searching under the rubble for a glimmer of hope.. these people who live the loss every minute are in dire need of our help.. we are here to stand by them.. to restore their hope.

What we are experiencing in Gaza makes life gray without colors.. imagine that every moment that passes by we feel death from everywhere.. we live inside the displacement camps in the Al-Mawasi area and other areas, all forms of suffering from the extreme cold at night and the extreme heat during the day and from insects and reptiles.. and the severe shortage of water and food.. our life in the camps is like hell.

Despite all the barbaric bombing and suffering we are suffering from, we also suffer from a lack of all resources. We do not have the luxury of choosing the food we prefer, or the drink we like. All we have is to wait for the food aid that comes to us once or twice a week. The scenes of horror that we live every day cannot be described in words.

I, Rawan Abu Hatab, and a group of volunteers from inside Gaza, launched the charitable campaign #Badir.. so that we have the opportunity to take the initiative and extend a helping hand to those affected among our people. All donations that will come through this link will serve one goal, which is to help our people. We will distribute cash samples to needy families who suffer greatly from a lack of resources. We will distribute food parcels and clothes.. toys for children and initiatives to draw features of happiness on their faces.

Eid is coming and we need to draw a smile on the faces of children and adults with what we can do.

تمر الحياة بلحظات صعبة .. تجعلنا نتساءل عن معنى الإنسانية وروح التضامن.

يواجه أهالي قطاع غزة تحدياً كبيراً .. حيث يعانون من ويلات الحرب القاسية والنزوح والتشرد المستمر للشهر التاسع على التوالي. هؤلاء الأشخاص الذين فقدوا منازلهم وأحبائهم وما زالوا يبحثون تحت الانقاض عن بصيص أمل .. هؤلاء الأشخاص الذين يعيشون الفقد في كل دقيقة بحاجة ماسة إلى مساعدتنا .. نحن هنا لنقف بجانبهم .. لنعيد لهم الامل.

ما نعيشه في غزة يجعل الحياة رمادية بدون الوان .. تخيل ان كل لحظة تمر بنا نستشعر فيها الموت من كل مكان .. نعيش داخل مخيمات النزوح في منطقة المواصي ومناطق أخرى اشكال المعاناة كلها من البرد الشديد في الليل ومن الحر الشديد في النهار ومن الحشرات والزواحف .. وقلة المياه والطعام بشكل كبير .. حياتنا في المخيمات اشبه بالجحيم.

ورغم كل ما نعانيه من قصف همجي ومن معاناة .. نعاني أيضا من نقص في الموارد جميعها .. ليس لدينا رفاهية الاختيار في ان نختار الطعام الذي نفضله .. او المشروب الذي تحبه .. كل ما لدينا هو ان ننتظر المساعدات الغذائية التي تأتينا كل أسبوع مرة او مرتين .. مشاهد الرعب التي نعيشها كل يوم لا يمكن للكلمات ان تصفها.

قمت انا روان أبو حطب ومجموعة من المتطوعين من داخل غزة بإطلاق الحملة الخيرية # بادر.. حتى تتسنى لنا الفرصة من ان نبادر ونمد يد المساعدة للمتضررين من أهلنا .. جميع التبرعات التي ستاتي على هذا الرابط ستخدم هدفاً واحداً وهو مساعدة أهلنا .. سنقوم بتوزيع عينات نقدية على الاسر المحتاجة والتي تعاني من نقص في الموارد بشكل كبير .. وسنقوم بتوزيع طرود غذائية وملابس .. العاب للأطفال ومبادرات لرسم ملامح السعادة على وجوههم.

العيد قادم ونحن بحاجة لان نرسم البسمة على وجوه الاطفال والكبار بما نستطيع القيام به.
