Hi friends and family,

My name is Cynthia and I would truly appreciate it if you took the time to read my story.

My dad, Dung Do, 49 years old, was unfortunately informed with the despairing news that he will only have a 2-3 years left to live.

On April 09, 2023, my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. After numerous treatments, therapy, and surgeries, my dad was able to have a safe and fast recovery.

Fast forward to July 8th, 2024, the cancer came back and had already spread to the liver and lungs and more recently, to the Thoracic spine.

After a year of surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and targeted cancer drugs, unfortunately the cancer has progressed rapidly and spread aggressively, which has limited his life. He is unable to receive any surgeries at the moment and will only be able to receive treatment slowing down the spread of the cancer.

I am setting up this page to try and assist with the funding for this treatment. Dung has been unable to work the past few years due to the amount of physical and mental pain he’s been suffering with. This treatment will not save my Dad but will hopefully allow him to have extra time to make meaningful memories for his family and friends.

Any amount you're willing to contribute is so greatly appreciated, and if you aren't able to contribute money at this time, a share with your friends and family would mean the world to us as well. Should the donated funds exceed the account required to pay for the treatment, then the remaining donated money could be used for a different treatment, any other associated medical and practical costs related to the condition, funeral costs, supporting the immediate family going forward.
