Extend Cheyenne's Life: Urgent Medical Help Needed
Donation protected
- Blessings to you and yours. Most of you know me and some don't. My name is Cheyenne Robinson and from birth, I've suffered from a disease called Porphyria, and I happen to have an extremely rare form of it: AIP/Variegated/HP. The older I get, the worse it progresses, and every flare-up is life-threatening. I am now on Palliative Care, which means end-of-life care. I am the only documented case here in New York.
- The reason I need urgent help financially is due to me having to move temporarily to Rochester, Minnesota, at the main campus of The Mayo Clinic where they can better treat me and give me some hope in extending my life expectancy. The medicine that is desperately needed, called Heme, will slow down the progression of said hereditary disease and cannot be obtained here or in any of the surrounding states. Unfortunately, the Mayo Clinic doesn't accept my insurance; everything basically has to come out of pocket: hospital fees, travel, lodging, and one extra trip back to Minnesota for follow-up care. Once I settle back in New York, the cancer center that I've been going to for nineteen years will pick up when The Mayo Clinic is successfully finished with treating me.
- I would greatly appreciate any and all help as possible. I am not trying to clock out of here early. So again, I ask for your help and I thank you in advance for your love, prayers, and every financial blessing that will make my greatest need possible. God Bless You All Always!
