Extend Beans' Life: Donate for His Care

Beans is currently at the Emergency Vet as he wouldn't eat, was restless, yet very lethargic. He was also having issues with mobility in his back legs. They are currently running tests to see if he has an infection and if so, how bad it is and if it is affecting any of his organs or joints.

We are more than grateful for all of the help thus far, anything (no matter how big or small) helps Beans tremendously, even sending some prayers up for him is more than appreciated.

Hey there!

My name is Lisa and I am better known as Beans' Mom! Beans is an 8-10 year old male pitbull who is my absolute best friend and who is also the favorite child. We originally were a foster for Ruff Road Pet (where we met Beans). We had him for approximately 6 months before my heart knew he didn't belong with anyone else but us.

In the past month or so, Beans has developed a red bump under his tongue (which he was seen for), and now that bump has turned black-ish and has caused bruising in his mouth and on his gums. Our veterinarian has Beans scheduled for a skull x-ray, a biopsy (both of which require anesthesia), and a coagulation panel due to the bruising in his mouth on Tuesday, July 22nd, 2025. The low end for the x-rays, surgery, and aftercare is approximately $1900, the high end being around $2100. The biopsy will tell us exactly what we are dealing with, whether it be cancer or a benign growth that can be removed.

I am a single mom with 2 kids, both of whom are in college, and I do work full-time. Any extra money I have had has gone directly to Beans' care thus far and I just need a little extra help to get my guy to the finish line. Every amount, no matter how big or small, will help Beans to start feeling better and hopefully, fingers crossed, help extend his life and our time with him.
