Extend a Hand to Lexa After Family Tragedy
Donation protected
This is a story abut perseverance and ultimate tragedy. The Fishers, Michelle, Justin and Lexa were a great family, after several years of homelessness and finally stability once they landed in Phoenix in 2020.
Michelle was a decorated, retired US Army Sergent and the most amazing mother and friend you would ever know. To know Michelle was to know love. Justin had, after many false starts and tribulations with addictions finally found success and drive in the chip making community. And Lexa, after struggling for many years with mental health maladies finally achieved the right medications mix. With a stable life Lexa found her light in life by recently being baptized into the Mormon church in Mesa, AZ.
The night of March 6th, 2025 in a freak, single car accident by himself and all alone Justin died on the roadside after impacting a tree. When the Mesa PD arrived at their home to deliver the next of kin notification Michelle, in a state of shock suffered a massive cardiac arrest and died just hours after her son. Lexa was forced to perform CPR on her own mother.
With the deaths of Michelle and Justin, Lexa is left all alone in this world. Her own Bio-Dad wanted nothing to do with her and another older brother has his own demons to contend with.
Michelle was unable to obtain any life insurance with her 100% VA disability and Justin as a young man didn't consider life insurance a good use of limited funds.
I have known the Fishers for years and can attest that they are amazing and kind people who didn't deserve to have such a tragedy befall them just as life was looking up.
Lexa is left with less than $100 and mostly unable to hold a job, but she is absolutely willing to do good for others and want's to start service mission with the church.
If you can help please do, by allowing me to shepherd Michelle and Justin to their next journey and get Lexa to a safe place where she can thrive.
