I want to take a moment to reach out to you about a beloved member of our community, Lamont Crosby, who many of you know from his car maintenance shop next to the old Crosby’s Chicken. As of Sunday, he has been hospitalized for three weeks, and our hearts go out to him and his wife, Judy, during this challenging time.
Judy, a dedicated supporter of the Bamberg County Line Dancers, has been a pillar of strength for Lamont, especially as she, on his behalf, navigates the complexities of his health and benefits as a veteran.
With Lamont's illness and their self-employed status, they are facing significant financial challenges, and Judy is shouldering the weight of managing their family's affairs.
In times like these, it’s our community spirit that can make a profound difference. If you feel called to support Lamont and Judy, whether through prayers, kind words, or any form of assistance, it will mean the world to them.
Additionally, if you are in a position to contribute financially to help ease their burden, it would be greatly appreciated.
Let us come together to support our neighbors in their time of need, as we know that community engagement is the heart of our values. Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
