Extend a Hand to Dawn in Her Time of Need
Donation protected
I am reaching out for my sister-in-law, Dawn Diffenderffer-Baker. She has been a part of our lives since she walked into Joe Baker’s life almost 30 years ago. Joe is my husband Mike’s brother. He died on November 16th unexpectedly. We weren’t ready for it. And of course, neither was Dawn. Who is ever ready for the love of their life to take flight and be the wind beneath her wings?
She thought she had so much more time. Time to plan, time to figure out what the future will look like without your partner but most people don't do that and most are left trying to just survive.
With the loss of a spouse or partner, your life shifts dramatically. Nothing is the same. The truth is, most spouses lose so much more than the love of their life. They lose the feeling of security and, of course, financial stability. Joe had been on disability which she is now not entitled to and now things are much more tricky to navigate.
You may be aware that Dawn had been there for others and wouldn’t dream of asking for help herself. She has done Go Fund Me for others and has been a great friend and family member to many people. She is in need of financial support to assist with monthly bills but recently had to repair a major water line.
As many of you may be aware these are hard times and navigating all of this while you are grieving makes it that much worse.
I am asking for whatever you can send her way to give a cushion until things can be sorted out.
Thank you for all the love you’ve sent Dawn’s way and all the support.
