Paradise fire Victims

My name is Jessica. I live in sunny San Diego and I was on the golf course when I got a group text to Pray for Paradise! I thought it was a scam, because who actually knows phone numbers anymore? I text back, What is this?? And the response was, Paradise is on fire! I couldn’t believe it! My Mom and Dad! My sisters! Most of my family was in trouble! I started calling them until finally someone picked up. Everyone was trying to get out, just scattering however they could. Now, as the fire has passed through, the damage is evident. My family suffered the loss of 3 homes and all their jobs.  Their kids don’t have a school to go to anymore. The town is in ruins with 90%...Gone...Over 2400 residences, over 200 businesses, 5 schools, , the hospital I was born in, and I’m sure more loss is yet to be accounted for. My parents were able to get out with their motorhome and a truck and my gramma, my oldest sister has one vehicle with a weekend worth of clothes, but my other sister had packed a vehicle with some things but got caught on a road that had spot fires and was trapped so she had to abandon the vehicle and walked with her children and husband.. and dog, out of there until a woman picked them up and took them to an evacuation center. They have the clothes on their back and themselves. Thankfully everyone is ok physically, but I can’t even imagine the difficulties they will be facing for some time to come. I would be grateful for anyone interested in helping my fire victims recover and move on with their life! They need so much and I’m hoping this is a good way to start! Thank you.
