Hello,
I'm Arabia Boatwright and together with my brother- Dahu, we are faced with the task of laying our twenty-nine years young sister Shalima (Poonie) to rest. Unfortunately with my sister condition life insurance companies wouldn't accept her
Poonie was not just the baby of our family, she was OUR baby and the love of our lives.
Her incredible love for music and photography could only be surpassed by her love for her nieces and nephews.
She was always taking pictures of her self,something or someone.
We thought she'd be here with us forever. Unfortunately a heart attack took her on January 21st, 2018. Our only comfort in this is that our mother was waiting for her in Heaven.
We are setting up a fundraising page to reach the goal of $6500 to cover the costs of the funeral.
This will not only allow us to lay Poonie to rest, but it will serve as a tribute to her life. People will be able to share their memories on the page.
As you may know, time is of the essence in situations like this and we ask that you keep this in mind as we only have one week to reach our goal.
