Mambo!
My name is Jaiden Robinson, and I’m about to graduate from college, which is an exciting milestone that marks not just the end of one journey, but the beginning of another. For my senior research project, I have the incredible opportunity to travel to Tanzania to conduct anthropological fieldwork that brings my years of study to life.
My research, “Multi-cultural Perspectives on Time,” explores something we often take for granted: how we experience time. Across cultures, time isn’t always measured; it’s lived, understood, and valued in profoundly different ways. By immersing myself in Tanzanian communities, I hope to learn firsthand how cultural perspectives shape daily life, relationships, and worldviews.
This experience is more than a research trip; it’s a chance to grow as a scholar, connect across cultures, and contribute to a deeper understanding of the human experience. However, making this journey possible comes with significant costs, and that’s where I could really use your support.
I recently celebrated my birthday on April 17th, and if you were considering a way to celebrate with me, contributing to this journey would mean the world. Every donation, no matter the size, brings me one step closer to turning this dream into reality.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read, support, and share. I truly appreciate anything and everything you can give.
