Hi! My name is Violet, and I am attempting to raise money with the hope of going to Germany on a three-week trip through my school. Along the way, we plan to stay a night in France, with the opportunity to see the Eiffel Tower.

This trip would mean the world to me because I aspire to eat and live as they do; I make my own bread and pastries; I am working on having my own garden and beehive; I love to eat healthy, walk, hike, travel; I love nature; I love art; I love animals, and I am especially excited to walk and hike new places with the option of taking the train. I am so excited and thrilled to explore castles and a whole different way of life, work, and education. I plan to run my own farm and business while living off the land with my friends, with the hopes of one day being self-sufficient. This type of living and production (small businesses > big corporations) is highly supported in Germany, with many people having their own small businesses and means of agricultural production. In Germany, they are known for having a greater number of bakeries that offer fresh pastries with less sugar, and their flour is not processed, bleached, or chemically treated in the way our flour is here in the U.S. There are numerous artists in Germany, ranging from sculptors to painters, whom I am greatly inspired by. I also am obsessed with their architecture, especially the castles. Germany is way less mechanized in comparison to the U.S., where cars are a commonality, whereas in Germany, walking is the norm, which I love and look forward to. I am more than overjoyed to have this opportunity and to be able to explore nature that has not been impacted or overthrown as heavily as it has been here.
