In 2021, I completed the Hartz expedition to Scotland and found it hugely beneficial. I hope to extend my horizons, raising sufficient funds to join the 2023 expedition to the Canadian Yukon.

The British Exploring Society is a phenomenal charity founded by Surgeon Commander George Murray Levick RN, a member of Captain Scott's final Antarctic expedition of 1910-13. It enables young people to gain skills, learn about themselves, and acquire knowledge relevant to their lives and the fragile environments that they explore. The results are transformative – not just in terms of practical skills and resilience, but in a new-found confidence and self-belief that they carry forward to their future life.
