Hi my name is Aurora and I’m fundraising for Theo. Theo is a sweet and friendly boy who is loved by everyone who meets him. About a week ago Theo got sick. I took him to the vet and I was informed that he had diabetes. This one vet bill cost me $600 and the treatment was going to run me about $150 a month, not including his glucose curve vet appointments. I started him on his insulin and he was adjusting. Two nights ago Theo stopped eating and drinking. I took him to the vet again, and because you cannot administer insulin in a cat who isn’t eating, his levels became dangerously high and he was at risk of death. I had to admit him over night to stabilize him. That bill cost me over $3000. He is likely going to be okay if I can continue care and I will do whatever I need to to get him this care. But these bills have cleared my savings. These are expenses I have to take on alone and I have no option. I want to continue to get care for Theo. If I can keep his levels stable by providing his medication and having these appointments to make sure he’s responding, he likely has many years left.

The thing about diabetes in cats is that it can be reversed with proper diet and care, I want to do this for him. Please help me help him, this cat is truly my everything.
