Expenses while I bury my baby
Donation protected
Most of you know that my first born, the one that made me mom, Amy Quinn (32) died on Sunday morning, September 4th, from an accidental suicide.
I traveled from GA where I live to her apartment in Ohio to help plan her Military memorial service, with her Military family and get her home to State College PA, with her immediate family, where she will be buried. The Army will be paying for her coffin and travel. But as you know I am single, have no one significant in my life, and have not found decent employment since February 2022. (I worked a seasonal job in the spring). My funds are depleted with the trip North. I need to buy a black dress and shoes, eat, pay for gas and soon a hotel in State College. I will also possibly need to stay on here in Ohio (meaning a trip back from State College Pa) to clean out her apartment, and a Uhaul to transport the things I will be keeping of Amy's back to Georgia.
I cannot financially handle any of this. My hands are shaking as I write this, as it is very hard to ask for charity. But I wouldn't ask, unless it was a very very very dire circumstance. And I trust you think this is.
Should any money be raised that I don't use for the trip, I still have expenses at my home in GA, that will greet me when I get back, water, electric, car payment etc. If any are left over, I will donate this money to a charity Amy held dear to her heart to be named later. Thank you so very much from a very broken mother.
